Project Scope:
The series of ArcGIS analyses comprehensively assessed neighborhoods in New York City for their family-friendliness while examining the spatial distribution of existing families. With over hundreds of thousands of families in the city grappling with  the rising cost of living outpacing income growth, the need to understand the factors that contribute to a neighborhood's desirability for families is pressing.

The study focuses on evaluating accessibility and affordability elements, offering recommendations to enhance family-friendliness in specific neighborhoods. The primary audience for these recommendations includes the Community Districts of New York City, crucial stakeholders responsible for advising on land use and zoning within their respective districts.
